Frank Rodi
Frank Rodi has worked in the music industry over a number of years as a broadcaster, DJ and licensing strategist. In his current role as Senior Online & Mobile Licensing Manager with APRA|AMCOS his job is to identify new technologies and investigate their impact on the music industry and music copyright in relation to musical works. This has involved developing and implementing licensing schemes covering interactive streaming, webcast and podcast services, IPTV, mobile phone networks and digital downloads. More recently this role has expanded to develop policies for emerging Web 2.0 applications and User Generated Content (UGC) sites.
Prior to APRA|AMCOS Frank worked as a radio producer and announcer for the ABC and SBS. At SBS radio he established the first youth music program called Alchemy - subsequently transforming his Alchemy concept into a long running successful television show for SBS, which Frank co-presented and was music director. Alchemy was Australia's first free-to-air electronic/club/dance music TV show.
