Dom Alessio

Dom Alessio plays guitar. There's a chance you've never heard his bands though. That's because he's had more success when he's spruiking other people's music rather than his own. Dom is one half of the team that presents Home & Hosed, the Australian music show on triple j. His words often appear in J Mag and on the music website Mess + Noise, and in the past Dom has contributed to the Sun Herald, street press magazines such as The Brag, Beat and Rave, and eclectic music zine Cyclic Defrost. He also co-founded Australia's first blog dedicated solely to Australian music, Who The Bloody Hell Are They? A work colleague once described Dom as a “harsh music critic”. He's extremely pleased with that epithet.
