Andrew Urban

Andrew is the publisher and editor of Australia's online movie magazine, Urban Cinefile - est. 1997. Occasional author, social documentarian and dedicated arts journalist since the 70s, Andrew has covered music, theatre and - for the last 25 years, film - writing for Australia's leading publications, international film trade papers as well as publishing his own magazines. He created the prime time street interview social documentary TV series, Front Up, for SBS, which ran for nine years. He was Channel Host on the subscription tv channel, World Movies for almost 5 years and he leads a regular course on contemporary film for the Centre for Continuing Education, University of Sydney.
