Alex Abela

Alex Abela has been Music Director at 2Day FM in Sydney since April 2009. Prior to this, he was SAFM's Music Director and Assistant Content Director for over two years, Music Director and Afternoons Announcer at Mix 106.3 in Townsville, and spent four years working at ACE Radio where he was Drive Announcer at 3TRFM in Traralgon and host of ACE Radio's Night Mix Hot 30 Countdown and in Production at Mixx FM in Hamilton. With his current role at Austereo, Alex works closely on the content for the Today Network's Number One Night Show, Hot30 Countdown and has a leading role in creating the playlist for the whole Today Network.
