Amandah Wilkinson is most well-known for her role in Gold Coast band, Operator Please. Having spent the past six years dedicated to the development, writing and production of Operator Please, Amandah has grown significantly as an artist. Her involvement in Operator Please includes writing, co-producing and releasing two studio albums, two EPs, winning an ARIA award, playing some of the biggest festivals in the world, touring internationally, playing alongside artists like Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Modest Mouse and writing with bands such as No Doubt.
She’s collaborated with some of the world’s best pop writers including Pascal Gabriel (New Order, Debbie Harry, Marina and The Diamonds, Florence and The Machine etc), Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue, Rosie and The Dunebugs, Kish Mauve), Jimmy Harry (Madonna, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, PINK, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, Oh Land) and Billy Mann (PINK, Kelly Rowland, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson).
As a songwriter, Amandah has been inspired and challenged by these experiences which have, in turn, allowed Amandah to explore her own solo material at depth. Amandah is now heavily involved in writing songs and music for pop artists and collaborating with other talent. She is now focused on making her solo project Bossy Love an exciting new venture.
