Tom Harris

Tom Harris first entered the Australian Music Industry in 2003 as the bookkeeper at Rubber Records and Media Arts Lawyers. Making the most of the networking opportunity provided by the busy office, he promoted his services under the name White Sky.

White Sky soon grew and is now the largest music business management company in Australia; working with over 100 bands, record labels, festivals and other industry services.

In 2006 Tom and his friend Danny Rogers (Gotye, Clare Bowditch, Laneway Festival) set out to combine their respective skill sets and create an elite artist management team. Together they discovered The Temper Trap in 2006 and managed the band from humble beginnings in small Melbourne venues, to a career path that most bands only dream of. Tom helped them become an established world-class act, selling over 500,000 copies of their debut album, reaching Platinum status in Australia and Gold status in the UK.

In 2009 Tom joined forces with Comedy Industry heavyweight Bec Sutherland as co-directors of Fox in the Snow Entertainment. In its short existence Fox in the Snow has quickly established itself as a major player in touring international comedy throughout Australia. Irish comedians Jason Byrne and Des Bishop are currently touring, as are Americans Jennifer Coolidge and Pam Ann, British TV star Alan Davies and Aussie new comers Fear of a Brown Planet.

After working in an unofficial advisory role with The Little Stevies for over a year, at the end of 2009 Tom signed on as their official manager. He has since toured The Little Stevies in North America three times as well as managing the set-up, recording and release of their sophomore album Attention Shoppers.

In 2010 Tom was asked to join the Board of the Association of Artist Managers (AAM).
