The story of Karl’s music industry experience starts in London in the late 80s where he was the tape-op for the Fine Young Cannibals album, The Raw & the Cooked. He went on to become the marketing and promotions strategist for Universal Music in Australia as well as a major label recording artist himself. In 2005 Karl won the prestigious ISC Americana category and has since been nominated for numerous golden guitars and other songwriting awards.

Now Karl proudly represents APRA in the songwriting world, relentlessly (and respectfully) reaching into the creative minds of great writers to help share stories, methods and insights. He remains intent on unlocking some of those mystical doorways that lead into the mind of brilliant songwriters.
