Jess manages The Trouble With Templeton and is Founder and Director of unique, boutique music business, Tiny Monster. Tiny Monster specialises in A&R Consulting, Artist Mentoring and Creative Services (Project Managing video and photo shoots).
Jess has had a long love affair with music. She studied opera and finished a Bachelor Degree majoring in music. But then she discovered guitars, Tool and Radiohead and everything changed. She moved to London, got a job at HMV and bought a bass. She has now written, played and recorded in several indie rock bands and has 10 years label experience. She started in Licensing, Press and PR at EMI (where she worked on promo plans for artists like Silverchair, The Finn Brothers, Coldplay, Missy Higgins and Gorillaz), followed by a stint as A&R Manager at Universal. Jess signed Children Collide, Gyroscope (in 2009), The Naked & Famous (for Aus), Dukes of Windsor and also “A&R-ed” releases from Calling All Cars, The Vasco Era and Violent Soho. Since starting Tiny Monster, Jess has Project Managed The Jezabels Try Colour music video. She is currently working with Tales in Space (Sydney), Tehachapi (Melbourne), Ben Wells & The Middle Names (Hobart) and Lucy Durack (Sydney) as well as continuing to manage The Trouble With Templeton.
