Steve Cropper
Steve Cropper is a genuine musical living legend and songwriting genius. An original member of the Blues Brothers Band, Steve has co-written smash hits such as Green Onions, Knock On Wood, In The Midnight Hour,6345789 and the legendary (Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay with friend Otis Redding. As a producer he has worked also worked with renowned artists as Wilson Picket, Eddie Floyd, Tower of Power, Poco, John Prine and Otis Redding. During his career Steve has been recognised many times for his genius, with inclusions in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, as well as being named 39th in Rolling Stone Magazine’s top 100 guitar players of all time.

Never co-written and want to give it a try? Got a half-written song, a demo or just a song title? Bring along your guitar, bring along your demos. Fine-tune those songs with the creative assistance of one of the mentors or team up for a co-write. The likes of Tim Levinson, Lior, Kav Temperley, Kev Carmody, Megan Washington and many more will be available to give you some insight.

Songwriters Unite! – Arnthor Birgisson
Arnthor Birgisson is a Swedish songwriter and producer. Starting out in 1996, his breakthrough came with the song “Because of You” written for boy band 98 Degrees. Since then he has worked with record labels including Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music, EMI Group and Warner Music Group and written hits for stars such as Ronan Keating, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Janet Jackson, Samantha Mumba and Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias, Shayne Ward and Westlife.

It started in his hometown of New York via the sounds of West Side Story and continued when he moved to America’s leading entertainment metropolis, L.A.
